கீழூர் Christopher compound வீடு தான் முதலில் சென்றது. முதலில் தொலைபேசி பார்த்தது / பேசியது அங்குதான். நான் கொஞ்சம் சேட்டை பண்ணாமல் இருந்த்து பெரியம்மா வீடுதான் என்று நினைக்கிறேன். ராம் நான் ஒன்றாக விளையாடுவோம். பெரியப்பா கொஞ்சம் கண்டிப்பானவர்கள். வீடு கட்டினால் எப்படி கட்ட வேண்டும் என்பதை பெரியப்பாவிடம் தான் கற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். முதலில் foundation போட்டு சிறிது காலத்திற்கு பின் கட்ட ஆரம்பித்து முடியும் வரை தினமும் வந்து வந்து, பார்த்து பார்த்து கட்டினார்கள். நான் வீடு கட்டும்போது அவர்களைத் தான் நினைத்துக் கொண்டேன்.
சங்கரி அக்காவை குட்டிப் பிள்ளை என்று கூப்பிட்டு வம்பிழுப்பேன். பட்டாச்சியின் "எல...ராமு...." விசாரிப்பை மறக்க முடியாது. தெர்மல் நகரில் ராம் மற்றும் எல்லா பசங்களும் விளையாடி இருக்கிறோம். பெரியம்மா பாம்பே போகும்போதுதான் முதலில் இரயில் நிலையம்/ இரயில் பார்த்தது.

Without Aachi and Thatha I would have been a lost lamb in the hills. I am blessed to have them as my grandparents.

She tells me stories, listens to my school stories,plays with me and entertains a lot. I like to travel, to spend time with achi. I like achi's cooking, especially prayana thuvaiyal.
Veera thatha asks me many questions, he is very good in maths. In future I want to be good in maths like thatha. Whenever he comes to our house he appreciates my studies, singing and art work. He tells history about all the places we visit, and asks me to write about my trip(which I don't do). I and my sister prepare hand made greetings for their wedding day. I always miss when they visit my house and leave(feel like crying). I love my achi thatha very much.

When Aachi went to Bombay, the 3 kids had to be enrolled in an English medium school. But the problem was all of them had studied only in a Tamil medium. Believe me or not , Aachi single handedly taught them English, Hindi and a little maths for 3 months and got their admission. Talking about her culinary skills, she is a pro in it. Basically I am a foodie and I used to torture her to cook something new. But each time I ask her she used to surprise me with a new dish which is just awesome. Kaimuruku is her special dish and whosoever eats it will become an adimai to her samayal.

The corner mansion in Parthasarathy Naidu street which the introductory video exhibits is the gateway to lot of family members. Radha athan is fortunate enough to stay in this house of serene and divine environment in his school days and developed good habits and pious mind. Here I would like to regard a few words about IG Pillai thatha. An admiring personality, a 75 years youth with commanding voice. No discrimination against anybody by status is his distinct feature. Arumugam Annatchi is a man of few words. He will enjoy playing with kids. He is a rare visitor to anybody's house. His visit to our house at Bombay during his official visit to the city is memorable. Mama is a towering personality well suited to police force. I was a first new entrant to this police family wherein all members used to stand and listen carefully to catch a few words which Mama may utter. It was a strange thing for me. But things were different inside the house. The regimentation centered to outside people was a heaven for all the family members. Hari mapillai is a replica of mama not only in stature but also in authority. He has mellowed down over the years like all of us( seniors). He is a regular visitor to our house. Tempting opportunity to grab material wealth is a real testing ground to assess one's integrity. Police department is one such organization. Sethu annachi passed the test with distinction and yearned a good reputation with IPS officers. I used to wonder how he wielded influence in police circle even after 20 years of retirement. Our first feast after our marriage was in Athur annachi's house. I was expecting a formal invitation. He came all the way from athur to dcw quarters and invited me just for the sake of kasthuri and mama . Now it appears foolish on my part to expect such things. Cashier is the crucial cutting edge between management and staff. He was popular with both of them because of his efficiency and integrity. That is why Jain family gracefully accomodated Kannan in the organization. Kannan also gradually gained and sustained the good image of his father . To know a father you observe the children. Successful Alwar and ram are the true testimony to this statement. My school mate, social thinker and Tamil professor Sivam used to have discussion with learned people in political/ literary circle at his house. These two children had the opportunity to interact with them , a fertile ground to grow ones mental strength to meet challenges in life. That way my friend by his action subtly molded them well. - S. Ram v: I probably spent more time at Aruna chithi's house during school holidays. It was like a second home to me. Needless to say, Chithi took good care of me. Her tea, porikadalai urundai and kaaramilla idli podi are my favourites. Chithappa avargal nanbarguladan discuss pannuvadhai Sila neram ottu kettadhundu. Never understood the conversations. It amazes me to see Alwar chase his dream with resoluteness. During the initial period of his business venture, he used to visit Chennai often to meet clients and source materials and I have never seen him losing energy or confidence when things don't go as planned. Subbu somehow survived and managed the warring boys and helped Chithi. Ram is an example that every kid has a hidden talent. He hated school and regular studies but later proved his skills in hardware after attending a short course in computer maintenance.

நான் சித்தார்த், சிவசுப்ரமணியன் - அருணா தம்பதியினரின் பேரன். வாழ்க்கைக்கு உற்றதுணையாகவும், உறுதுணையாகவும் இருப்பது கல்வி. அக்கல்வியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை எனக்குக் கற்றுக் கொடுத்தது என் தாத்தாதான். என் தாத்தா பல வருடங்களுக்கு முன் வ.உ.சி. கல்லூரியில் பேராசிரியராக பணி புரிந்தவர். அவர் புத்தகங்கள் வாசித்துக் கொண்டே இருப்பார். அவர் ஒரு புத்தகத்தை இழந்தால் தன் சுவாசத்தில் ஒரு பங்கை இழந்த்தாக எண்ணுவார். நான் கட்டுரை எழுத, பேச நன்றா உதவி செய்வார்கள். ஒருமுறை காமராசரை பற்றி மேடையில் பேச வாய்ப்பு கிட்டியது. என் தாத்தா எழுதிக் கொடுத்த கட்டுரையால் தான் அந்த போட்டியில் பங்கேற்கவே முடிந்த்து. நான் 6வது வகுப்பு படிக்கும் பொழுது என் தமிழ் ஆசிரியை தரங்கம்பாடி ஊரை பற்றி பாடம் எடுத்தார். நான் அவரிடம் என் தாத்தா அவ்வூரைப் பற்றி புத்தகம் எழுதியிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று கூறிணேன். அவர்கள் அப் புத்தகத்தைக் கேட்க, நானும் தாத்தாவிடம் வாங்கிக் கொடுத்தேன். அவர்களை அதனைப் படித்து, அவர்களது தந்தையிடம் (ஒய்வு பெற்ற தாசில்தார், கோவை) கூறியிருக்கிறார். அவர் என் ஆசிரியையிடம் " அவர் தமிழ் நாட்டில் பெரிய எழுத்தாளர் ஆயிற்றே. அவர் பேரனுக்கு நீ பாடம் எடுக்கிறாயா? அவ்வளவு பெரிய மனிதரின் பேரனுக்கு பாடம் நடத்த நீ மிகவும் கொடுத்து வைத்திருக்க வேண்டும்", என்று கூறியிருக்கிறார்கள். இதில் வேடிக்கை என்னவென்றால் அவர் தாத்தாவை பார்த்ததே கிடையாது. இப்போதெல்லாம் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் கூட ஆசிரியர்களை கேலி செய்து பட்டப் பெயர் வைக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் அப்படிப்பட்ட காலத்திலும் மாணவர் மனதில் கொடி நாட்டிய பெருமை என் தாத்தாவையே சேரும். முகநாலில் தாத்தாவை அவரது நண்பர்கள் அவரை இரண்டாவது உ.வே.சா. என்பர். இதைவிட பெரிய பெருமை வேறென்ன வேண்டும்?
என் ஆச்சி. ஆச்சி என்றாலே நினைவிற்கு வருவது ஒன்றுதான். அதுதான் தின்பண்டம்😜😀. அவர் என் வீட்டிற்கு ஒவ்வொரு முறை வரும்போதும் ஏதேனும் தின்பண்டம் செய்து தருவார். அவ்வாறு செய்யவில்லை என்றால் " அய்யோ நா உனக்கு ஒன்னும் செய்யலியே.." என்று என்னிடம் புலம்புவார். ஆனால் சிறிது நாட்கள் கழித்து செய்து கொடுப்பார். இப்போது சொல்லுங்கள் நான் கொடுத்து வைத்தவன் தானே? என் தாத்தாவிற்கு விபத்து நேர்ந்த போது மனம் தளராது, தைரியமாக இருந்த ஒரே நபர் ஆச்சி மட்டும்தான். ஒரு நாளைக்கு 5 முறையாது நானும் ஆச்சியும் சண்டை போடவில்லை எனில் அந்த 'நாடா' புயலே வந்து மதுரையை சூறையாடிவிடும். இவை அனைத்தும் ஒரு பக்கம் இருந்தாலும், என் ஆச்சி ஆச்சி தான் தாத்தா தாத்தாதான்.

கீழூர் Christopher compound வீடு தான் முதலில் சென்றது. முதலில் தொலைபேசி பார்த்தது / பேசியது அங்குதான். நான் கொஞ்சம் சேட்டை பண்ணாமல் இருந்த்து பெரியம்மா வீடுதான் என்று நினைக்கிறேன். ராம் நான் ஒன்றாக விளையாடுவோம். பெரியப்பா கொஞ்சம் கண்டிப்பானவர்கள். வீடு கட்டினால் எப்படி கட்ட வேண்டும் என்பதை பெரியப்பாவிடம் தான் கற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். முதலில் foundation போட்டு சிறிது காலத்திற்கு பின் கட்ட ஆரம்பித்து முடியும் வரை தினமும் வந்து வந்து, பார்த்து பார்த்து கட்டினார்கள். நான் வீடு கட்டும்போது அவர்களைத் தான் நினைத்துக் கொண்டேன்.
சங்கரி அக்காவை குட்டிப் பிள்ளை என்று கூப்பிட்டு வம்பிழுப்பேன். பட்டாச்சியின் "எல...ராமு...." விசாரிப்பை மறக்க முடியாது. தெர்மல் நகரில் ராம் மற்றும் எல்லா பசங்களும் விளையாடி இருக்கிறோம். பெரியம்மா பாம்பே போகும்போதுதான் முதலில் இரயில் நிலையம்/ இரயில் பார்த்தது.

Without Aachi and Thatha I would have been a lost lamb in the hills. I am blessed to have them as my grandparents.

She tells me stories, listens to my school stories,plays with me and entertains a lot. I like to travel, to spend time with achi. I like achi's cooking, especially prayana thuvaiyal.
Veera thatha asks me many questions, he is very good in maths. In future I want to be good in maths like thatha. Whenever he comes to our house he appreciates my studies, singing and art work. He tells history about all the places we visit, and asks me to write about my trip(which I don't do). I and my sister prepare hand made greetings for their wedding day. I always miss when they visit my house and leave(feel like crying). I love my achi thatha very much.

When Aachi went to Bombay, the 3 kids had to be enrolled in an English medium school. But the problem was all of them had studied only in a Tamil medium. Believe me or not , Aachi single handedly taught them English, Hindi and a little maths for 3 months and got their admission. Talking about her culinary skills, she is a pro in it. Basically I am a foodie and I used to torture her to cook something new. But each time I ask her she used to surprise me with a new dish which is just awesome. Kaimuruku is her special dish and whosoever eats it will become an adimai to her samayal.

The corner mansion in Parthasarathy Naidu street which the introductory video exhibits is the gateway to lot of family members. Radha athan is fortunate enough to stay in this house of serene and divine environment in his school days and developed good habits and pious mind. Here I would like to regard a few words about IG Pillai thatha. An admiring personality, a 75 years youth with commanding voice. No discrimination against anybody by status is his distinct feature. Arumugam Annatchi is a man of few words. He will enjoy playing with kids. He is a rare visitor to anybody's house. His visit to our house at Bombay during his official visit to the city is memorable. Mama is a towering personality well suited to police force. I was a first new entrant to this police family wherein all members used to stand and listen carefully to catch a few words which Mama may utter. It was a strange thing for me. But things were different inside the house. The regimentation centered to outside people was a heaven for all the family members. Hari mapillai is a replica of mama not only in stature but also in authority. He has mellowed down over the years like all of us( seniors). He is a regular visitor to our house. Tempting opportunity to grab material wealth is a real testing ground to assess one's integrity. Police department is one such organization. Sethu annachi passed the test with distinction and yearned a good reputation with IPS officers. I used to wonder how he wielded influence in police circle even after 20 years of retirement. Our first feast after our marriage was in Athur annachi's house. I was expecting a formal invitation. He came all the way from athur to dcw quarters and invited me just for the sake of kasthuri and mama . Now it appears foolish on my part to expect such things. Cashier is the crucial cutting edge between management and staff. He was popular with both of them because of his efficiency and integrity. That is why Jain family gracefully accomodated Kannan in the organization. Kannan also gradually gained and sustained the good image of his father . To know a father you observe the children. Successful Alwar and ram are the true testimony to this statement. My school mate, social thinker and Tamil professor Sivam used to have discussion with learned people in political/ literary circle at his house. These two children had the opportunity to interact with them , a fertile ground to grow ones mental strength to meet challenges in life. That way my friend by his action subtly molded them well. - S. Ram v: I probably spent more time at Aruna chithi's house during school holidays. It was like a second home to me. Needless to say, Chithi took good care of me. Her tea, porikadalai urundai and kaaramilla idli podi are my favourites. Chithappa avargal nanbarguladan discuss pannuvadhai Sila neram ottu kettadhundu. Never understood the conversations. It amazes me to see Alwar chase his dream with resoluteness. During the initial period of his business venture, he used to visit Chennai often to meet clients and source materials and I have never seen him losing energy or confidence when things don't go as planned. Subbu somehow survived and managed the warring boys and helped Chithi. Ram is an example that every kid has a hidden talent. He hated school and regular studies but later proved his skills in hardware after attending a short course in computer maintenance.

appa: The views expressed by Suri about our mappilai Prof Siva subramaniam who is known as Pulavar in the colleges and educated circle.We were there at Chidambanagar when he was in College quarters So l Fully know the name he had among students and management.Some may be excellent speaker and good writer.But he is versed in writing as well as speaking.He will collect more informations by reading various books for writing.You may be happy to hear that his books are in U.S.When we were in New York Sambath showed his book in the local library.Very unassuming knowledgeable person.lastly We are Thankful to him in one matter When father was upset and sitting lonely after the incident to us in SNKL he used to come to our house daily after college hours and will be talking to him to divert his attention. He is the one of the person who made my father to take this good decision boldly though objections were there Also he was bold enough to withstand the situation when he met with an accident It is

ஒரு முறை சின்ன ஆச்சி அதாவது அந்த சின்ன மாமியார் வெளியே தானாக தனியாக போனதையும் அதை தொடர்ந்து அண்ணன்மார்கள் தேடி அலைந்து திரிந்ததையும் பகிர்ந்தது இன்னும் நினைவு இருக்கிறது.அந்த ஆச்சியின் genes மூலமாகவோ அவர்களுடன் விடுமுறை நாட்களில் இருந்ததால் என்னவோ சித்தார்த்திற்கு வரைகலை வந்ததோ !

SIDDHARTH: வணக்கம் 🙏
நான் சித்தார்த், சிவசுப்ரமணியன் - அருணா தம்பதியினரின் பேரன். வாழ்க்கைக்கு உற்றதுணையாகவும், உறுதுணையாகவும் இருப்பது கல்வி. அக்கல்வியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை எனக்குக் கற்றுக் கொடுத்தது என் தாத்தாதான். என் தாத்தா பல வருடங்களுக்கு முன் வ.உ.சி. கல்லூரியில் பேராசிரியராக பணி புரிந்தவர். அவர் புத்தகங்கள் வாசித்துக் கொண்டே இருப்பார். அவர் ஒரு புத்தகத்தை இழந்தால் தன் சுவாசத்தில் ஒரு பங்கை இழந்த்தாக எண்ணுவார். நான் கட்டுரை எழுத, பேச நன்றா உதவி செய்வார்கள். ஒருமுறை காமராசரை பற்றி மேடையில் பேச வாய்ப்பு கிட்டியது. என் தாத்தா எழுதிக் கொடுத்த கட்டுரையால் தான் அந்த போட்டியில் பங்கேற்கவே முடிந்த்து. நான் 6வது வகுப்பு படிக்கும் பொழுது என் தமிழ் ஆசிரியை தரங்கம்பாடி ஊரை பற்றி பாடம் எடுத்தார். நான் அவரிடம் என் தாத்தா அவ்வூரைப் பற்றி புத்தகம் எழுதியிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று கூறிணேன். அவர்கள் அப் புத்தகத்தைக் கேட்க, நானும் தாத்தாவிடம் வாங்கிக் கொடுத்தேன். அவர்களை அதனைப் படித்து, அவர்களது தந்தையிடம் (ஒய்வு பெற்ற தாசில்தார், கோவை) கூறியிருக்கிறார். அவர் என் ஆசிரியையிடம் " அவர் தமிழ் நாட்டில் பெரிய எழுத்தாளர் ஆயிற்றே. அவர் பேரனுக்கு நீ பாடம் எடுக்கிறாயா? அவ்வளவு பெரிய மனிதரின் பேரனுக்கு பாடம் நடத்த நீ மிகவும் கொடுத்து வைத்திருக்க வேண்டும்", என்று கூறியிருக்கிறார்கள். இதில் வேடிக்கை என்னவென்றால் அவர் தாத்தாவை பார்த்ததே கிடையாது. இப்போதெல்லாம் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் கூட ஆசிரியர்களை கேலி செய்து பட்டப் பெயர் வைக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் அப்படிப்பட்ட காலத்திலும் மாணவர் மனதில் கொடி நாட்டிய பெருமை என் தாத்தாவையே சேரும். முகநாலில் தாத்தாவை அவரது நண்பர்கள் அவரை இரண்டாவது உ.வே.சா. என்பர். இதைவிட பெரிய பெருமை வேறென்ன வேண்டும்?
என் ஆச்சி. ஆச்சி என்றாலே நினைவிற்கு வருவது ஒன்றுதான். அதுதான் தின்பண்டம்😜😀. அவர் என் வீட்டிற்கு ஒவ்வொரு முறை வரும்போதும் ஏதேனும் தின்பண்டம் செய்து தருவார். அவ்வாறு செய்யவில்லை என்றால் " அய்யோ நா உனக்கு ஒன்னும் செய்யலியே.." என்று என்னிடம் புலம்புவார். ஆனால் சிறிது நாட்கள் கழித்து செய்து கொடுப்பார். இப்போது சொல்லுங்கள் நான் கொடுத்து வைத்தவன் தானே? என் தாத்தாவிற்கு விபத்து நேர்ந்த போது மனம் தளராது, தைரியமாக இருந்த ஒரே நபர் ஆச்சி மட்டும்தான். ஒரு நாளைக்கு 5 முறையாது நானும் ஆச்சியும் சண்டை போடவில்லை எனில் அந்த 'நாடா' புயலே வந்து மதுரையை சூறையாடிவிடும். இவை அனைத்தும் ஒரு பக்கம் இருந்தாலும், என் ஆச்சி ஆச்சி தான் தாத்தா தாத்தாதான்.
