Hari: I.G.Arumugam thatha: Very naughty in his childhood, being only son so much chellam from IG thatha... to an extent that he married his son (Arumugam thatha) to Chellammal... Avid reader...Very big Devotee of Lord Iyyappan and Lord Murugan...Liked playing tennis...Very systematic...So kind to all of us...only regret is that I couldn't spend more time with....yeah he used to call me 'Gentleman Babu' ..But he is the 'Real Gentleman'
Chellammal Aachi: An expert cook, multi talented in making handicrafts, tailoring etc...an expert in natural home medicine,very systematic...she is vey caring at the same time strict also in teaching good habits....she is naturally devotional and reads a lot of books...finally nobody beats her in cooking delicious food...

Chidambaranathan: Congrats The video was very good The remarks of all with their little knowledge about that house were also Good But I am the only Fortunate person who had enjoyed the warmth affection of every body there for no of years Right from Arumugathachy,I.G THATHA Nanachi Mama Akka lastly but not leastly driver Kuttiapillai Somu Pillai who were there in for 30/40 years as I was there for 16 years 1st Std to SSLC I had access to enter to the Iruttu room mentioned above anytime so the delicious murukku etc consumed by me are countless.The delicious rasam ,all eatables, real cow milk with Ovaltine etc -I can never forget I enjoy still the affection of the youngsters Hari Pappa Moorthy Gomu also Sixteen years experience can't be expressed in 10 mts
Forgotten to mention about the systematic I G THATHA lived. You may be surprised to know that all four clocks will strike uniformly,It is not there now Harikumar poor maintenance

Mythili Hari: In Fond Memory:-
Sankar achi, her father’s pet child belonged to a very noble aristocratic family and she was the wife of a great police officer DSP thatha but she was always simple.
She kept herself always active. She was interested in “patti vaithiyam”, “8 marundhu podi” etc.. so famous and effective. She willingly and kindly prepared and gave fever kudini for the servants too.
She was famous for murukku, mangai pickle, vathal etc.. She used to cut vegetables so beautifully. Chapattis and bolis were so round (without a compass) so fast she used to put.
I don’t know why but she had a very soft corner for me. I feel blessed. When sudhan and my daughter in law took harini to radha thatha’s house, indhu told me that achi kept harini on her lap for a long time affectionately.
She watches patti vaithyam, theiva tharisanam in TV, read newspaper and tamil women’s magazines. She used to discuss about jewels, saris etc. interested in everything. I was told that she used to put perfect kolam (achu mathiri) and when I was a new bride everybody appreciated me that I put kolam like sankar achi. We also borrowed her kolam note and copied her new types of kolam.
We like and enjoyed her company so much. We always used to ask her to come to keelur. Sankar achi liked arumbakkam (sudhan) house. She wanted to stay to spend a day or 2 with us but her health did not permit her. We asked her to stay here in keelur for a few weeks but she could not.
She lived a full life; we have to learn so many good things from her. Such a rich family but never liked to waste money. Nice watching her handling new born babies. My mother used to call Shankar akka.
Achi could have lived till 100, we would have all been so happy. But god knows best but still what to do, life is like that.DSP thatha and sankar achi live in our memories.

Subbulakshmi: There are lot of fond memories. I can't forget Keelur periyappa fondly calling me 'Japan'. During childhood days, when ever I go there, he used to play with me by giving arithmetic sums. Then, Periammas ever smiling welcoming style and her Iruttarai famous snacks are notable. Hari Annan speaks lot Moorthy Annan was mostly quite but used to enjoy others conversing. I didn't have much opportunity to speak to Pappa akka as she got married soon. I used to admire komakka for her passion towards crafts. She always kept her busy. Whenever, we go there, she used to share her crafts. Both the mathinis, Mythili and Kamakshi are very friendly. 😊

Ravi Avudaiappan: ஆறுமுகம் பெரியப்பா செல்லி பெரியம்மா அவர்களை சங்கரியுடன் சென்று முதன் முதல் கீழூர் இல்லத்தில் சந்தித்தபோது 'அரசன்-அரசி' யை சந்திப்பது போன்ற உணர்வே இருந்தது. ஒரு பயம் கலந்த மரியாதை. ஆனால் கொஞ்ச நேரத்தில் மிக சகஜமாகப் பழகி பல விஷயங்கள் பேச ஆரம்பித்தோம். மற்றவர் போலவே சங்கரிக்கும் பல மலரும் நினைவுகள் கீழூரில் உண்டு. சகோதரர்கள் ஹரிகுமார், ராமமூர்த்தி மற்றும் சகோதரிகள் பாப்பா, கோமதி மற்றும் துணைவியர் துணைவர்கள் குடும்பத்தினர் என அனைவருமே மிக்க அன்புடன் பாசத்துடன் பழகுபவர்கள். அதிலும் நெல்லை வாழ் சூரியமூர்த்தி அவர்கள் முதல் சந்திப்பிலேயே நெருங்கிய நண்பர் ஆகிவிட்டார்கள். அனைவர்க்கும் அன்பு வணக்கங்கள். வாழ்க வளமுடன்.

எனது மாமாக்கள் அனைவரும் எனக்கு ஒருவகையில் ஹீரோ தான்.. ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒரு வகையில் என்னை ஊக்குவித்திருக்கிறார்கள்..அவர்களிடம் இருந்து நிறைய விஷயங்களை கற்று கொண்டேன். இன்று குட்டி என்ஜினீயர் என்று என்னை அன்போடு அழைக்கும் நமது ஹீரோவை பற்றி சில வார்த்தைகள்:
அன்பு என்றால் அர்த்தம் என்ன என்று கேட்டல் எங்க செல்லி அத்தை மாமாவை கூறலாம்.. அப்படி ஒரு அன்பே உருவானவர்கள்.. இன்றும் அவர்களை நினைத்தால் அந்த புன்னகை தவழும் அன்பான முகம் தான் நினைவுக்கு வரும்.. உதட்டழிவில் சிரிக்காமல் முழு முகமே சிரிக்கும்.. அத்தையிடம் ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் மாமாவுக்கு கோபமே வராதா என கேட்டு வியந்ததுண்டு.. மேலும் அவர்கள் அணியும் வெண்ணிற ஆடை.. (அவர்கள் கலர் ஆடை அணிந்து நான் பார்த்ததில்லை) நான் சொல்ல நினைத்த பல விஷயங்களை அனைவரும் கூறி விட்டார்கள்.. ஒரு சுவாரசியமான சம்பவத்தை மட்டும் உங்களோடு பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறேன்.
பள்ளியில் படிக்கும் காலத்தில் மதிய உணவிற்க்காக அவர்கள் வீட்டிற்கு செல்வதுண்டு.. அவர்கள் வீட்டுக்கு அடுத்த வீடு என்னுடைய அம்மா ஆச்சி வீடு.. அதற்க்கு அடுத்த வீடு கஸ்துரி அத்தை வீடு.. தினமும் ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிற்கும் சென்று என்ன சாப்பாடு என்று கேட்டு, எனக்கு பிடித்தமான உணவு உள்ள வீட்டில் உண்பதுண்டு..
அப்படி சாப்பிட்டு முடித்து விட்டு தந்தி பேப்பரில் கன்னி தீவு படித்து கொண்டு மாமாவிற்காக முன் வாசலில் காத்திருப்பேன். அவர்கள் தினமும் 1 மணிக்கு மதிய உணவுக்காக அலுவலகத்தில் இருந்து வருவார்கள்.. வந்தவுடன் தினமும் என்னிடம் மிகவும் ஆர்வமாக புன்னகையோடு ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிலும் என்ன சாப்பாடு என்று கேட்பார்கள்.. அவர்களுக்கு நான் பதில் கூறும்போது கிடைக்கும் ஆனந்தமே தனி தான்.. அதற்காகவே தினமும் மாமாவிற்காக காத்திருப்பேன்.. மேலும் அவர்களுக்கு எனக்கு என்ன சாப்பாடு பிடிக்கும் என்று தெரியும். நான் ஏதாவது ஒரு நாள் வேறு ஏதாவது சாப்பிட்டால் உனக்கு அது பிடிக்காதே என்று கேட்பார்கள்..
பின்பு முகம் கழுவி அவர்கள் சாப்பிட உட்காரும் போது அத்தையிடம் எனக்கு பண்டம் எதுவும் கொடுத்தார்களா என்று கேட்பதுண்டு.. அத்தை மறந்தாலும் மாமா மூலம் எனக்கு தினமும் பண்டம் கிடைக்கும்..
பின்பு அந்த பள்ளியை விட்டு வேறு பள்ளிக்கு சென்றபோதும் வாரந்தோறும் மாமாவை பார்க்க வருவதுண்டு.. அப்பா அவர்கள் அக்காவை பார்க்க வருவார்கள்.. நான் எனது மாமாவை பார்க்க அப்பாவோடு ஒட்டிக்கொண்டு வருவேன்.. மாமாவிடம் இருந்து எனக்கு ஒட்டி கொண்ட பழக்கங்கள் - அன்பு செலுத்துதல் மற்றும் எல்லோரிடமும் புன்னகை மாறாமல் பழகும் தன்மை.. அவர்களது மரண படுக்கையிலும் அந்த புன்னகை அப்படியே மாறாமல் இருந்தது.. எனது வாழ்க்கையில் முதன்முதலில் பாதித்த மரணம் எங்க மாமா மரணம் தான்..
மேலும் அவர்கள் குழந்தைகள் எல்ல்லோருமே என்னிடம் மிகவும் பிரியமாக இருப்பார்கள்.. அந்த வீடு (போன தடவை ஊருக்கு வந்த பொது சங்கர் ஆச்சியிடம் அந்த வீட்டை பற்றி பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன்) , அந்த கருப்பு நிற அம்பாஸடர் கார், ஏசி ரூம், அத்தான்மார்களோடு ஊஞ்சலில் உட்கார்ந்து ஊர் கதை பேசியது.. . அவர்கள் கார் ஓட்டும் அழகு.. எல்லாமுமே பசுமையாக நினைவில் உள்ளது..
சிறு வயதில் நான் மிகவும் சேட்டை பண்ணுவேன்.. அதுவும் ஆச்சியோட அம்மா(நானா ஆச்சி) கிட்ட ரொம்ப சேட்டை பண்ணுவேன்.. அதற்கு மதினிமார்கள் தொடையை பிடித்து நல்லா கிள்ளி விடுவார்கள். அதற்க்கு பயந்து வீட்டை சுற்றி ஓடியது.. (பாப்பா மதினியிடம் மாட்டினால் அவ்வளவுதான் நன்றாக கிள்ளி விட்டுவிடுவார்கள்.. கோமதினி கிள்ளுவது வலிக்காது.. அனால் வலிக்கிற மாதிரி பாவலா காட்டினால் விட்டு விடுவார்கள்..இன்றும் பாப்பா மதினியை பார்த்தால் ஒரு பயம் இருக்கும்... ஹாஹாஹா இன்னும் பல சுவையான சம்பவங்கள்..
